So I am finally moving to Mac. I received a new MacBook Pro from Base22 on Thursday. It’s fully loaded and simply gorgeous. I’m still learning all the ends and outs but so far its a great little machine. Even with a 17in screen is thinner and lighter than my old T61p from Lenovo. Now I’m looking forward to getting into Iphone and Ipad development.
At this point my first task is to migrate my windows 7 OS and files into a VMware fusion. This will let me use my old computer any time. The process is taking a while (11 hours!) to move the files via wi-fi. Might be better to restart with a ethernet connection.
